      <image:caption>In 2015 I led the rebrand of the BlogHer conferences to be more in line with the new parent company’s aesthetic. The new logo was so well received that it was decided to rebrand the entire company to align with this new, clean, modern look. This resulted in a new logo, a new website, many new ancillary assets, and a Brand Book. I became the brand's storyteller, using our creative to show we are a community that empowers women and creates value for all.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>We collaborated with Operator Collective – founded because they believe the power in venture capital is concentrated among a homogenous group that doesn’t represent where the industry is now or where it’s going – to develop a brand identity and website that highlights their mission and values. The system centers on the organic shapes that overlap, creating a sense of people coming together, while the use of circular shapes create both an “O” and “C“. The outlined graphical element is one continuous, energetic line, inspired by the inclusivity and support system that is at its core. In hand with the launch of the company came the branding for their inaugural Operator Summit and their company launch event.</image:caption>

Our creative team was responsible for crafting the vision and experiential narrative for our attendees. We drew inspiration from our host city — New York — to create a bold and exciting visual identity that reflected the focus of the conference: women’s health. This also included the development of a new website, where we created attendee-centric design solutions for a rich user experience.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Rocksbox is a fast-growing, venture-backed jewelry eCommerce business building the destination retail brand for jewelry and accessories. They are passionate about leveraging technology and data to deliver products their customers love. We’ve partnered with Rocksbox to drive the visual brand strategy for all aspects of the Rocksbox brand, by overseeing all creative development. This includes UX/UI design of their unique rental + e-commerce site, art directing all photo shoots (on model and flat lays), email design, social strategy, PR initiatives, and packaging design. With a focus on conversion, designs are data-driven, constantly evolving, yet always delightful!</image:caption>

      <image:caption>SaaStr is the world’s largest community for B2B software. SaaStr Annual is the cornerstone event, with over 10,000 attendees. Joy was responsible for the entire creative vision, from conceptualizing the overall theme of a fantasy world of innovation, to the on-site experience that brought this world to life. We took great pride in paying attention to every detail, creating an experience that was unlike any traditional tech conference.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>To further strengthen the SheKnows Media brand, we strategized a design approach that would unify all sales materials. While there are obvious connections, there are also some intentional design variations to create visual interest for each document within the sales tool kit. We advocated for the use of real images from our community so that our sales collateral would authentically represent the beautifully diverse women that choose to be a part of it.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>#TheFWord was a video contest where individuals of all genders, ethnicities and points of view were invited to submit original two- to three-minute videos describing what feminism meant to them, with a goal to ignite conversation on feminism and intersectionality through the lens of powerful, personal storytelling. We designed the logo, which was a play on the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) film rating system, and art directed the execution of the contest.</image:caption>
